A facelift is a face surgical procedure that restores balance, harmony and youthfulness to the face by correcting visible signs of aging such as sagging skin and wrinkles. Discreet incisions are made in the hairline and in front of the ear in order to gently lift the skin on the cheek and neck and place it in a higher position.
The underlying supporting tissues are also tightened. It’s really the “true correction” of the loosening skin – the true replacing of the tissues to the position where they used to be. Combine with laser resurfacing to increase skin texture or blepharoplasty to improve the appearance of the eyelids.

General or local anesthesia?
Local with sedation or general anesthesia depending on patient preference.
Recovery time?
You should expect some swelling and bruising during your recovery. Plan for 2-3 weeks before you are ready for social engagements.
Painful?
Not a terribly painful procedure. Pain medication is prescribed as needed.
How long do the results last?
Long lasting and reliable. 10-15 years.
Do I have to stay in the clinic overnight?
Most of our patients go home the same day, but we can arrange nursing and aftercare support for the first 24 hours post surgery if requested by the patient.
